Todd Waters - BAM Instructor

Todd Waters has been performing and teaching percussion for nearly fifteen years and has been a student of music for much longer.

What began with a gift of a sparkly red snare drum from his uncle blossomed into a bachelors degree in percussion performance from the University of Michigan. There, Todd studied under renowned percussionists Michael Udow, Gerald Cleaver, Salvatore Rabbio and Julie Spencer. Since college Todd has performed, toured and recorded with a variety of artists including: Tobacco, Kristy Hanson, Donkey Punch, and various
off- Broadway musical theatre groups.

Todd’s current band Shapers has released albums for Whistler Records and Two Thumbs Down Records. Shapers has toured in support of and performed with many nationally and internationally recognized acts including: Atlas Sound, A Silver Mt. Zion, The Hood Internet, Tobacco, Beans and Icy Demons. They are currently recording a follow up to their LP Little Big and can be found online at Shapers.es
